new music live?

i wonder if these new bands are up to it at a live gig, i cant see james blunt or david grey ect..being as exciting as bands like acdc live or rolling stones or led zepplin,good old fashion rock,reggae,punk,or wot ever.
acdc sold a hundred thousand tickets in twenty minutes at munic in 2002,thirty years after they started out. can you see modern bands doing the same in thirty years time?

I saw a snippet of Kasabian from Glastonbury on BBC2 - they appeared to do the business. In fact that was the first time I had knowingly heard there stuff and I went out and bought their cd.
