This if you can find at a reasonable cost.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/off...ondition=collectible

Or Reflections if you can't.

Personally, I think this is the only GSH album you need.

'Lady Day and John Coltrane' is my favourite but almost all tunes on that album are good.

The recent reissue vinyl is lacklustre, but I haven't found the original copy yet.

Wow £26!

Mine is ripped and but a click away.

I would recommend it as well.

Kuma

Excellent album. My favourite track from the album is

Home Is Where The Hatred Is

Is there anyway of distinguishing an original from a reissue. I have an absolutely mint condition copy, it’s in such a good condition I suspect it’s a reissue.

I don't think that's so. 'B-Movie', which has to be one of his best songs, is on Reflections.

Dean,

Thanks. I wonder how many are the original issues...

Nigel,

Reflection has got some good tunes on it and less *preachy* than others, but Pieces of a Man is his definitive album.

Kuma,

Thats the point of the site to catalogue all the different releases from around the world from originals to modern re-masters. Just click on the earliest listed album and then the for sale tab and sellers from all round the world will be listed, if what they are listing is false then its their rep on the site that takes a hit and they are businesses so thats a rarity.
