Watched PFM for a while. Decided that the contributors are right and all my Naim stuff is crap, only good for book ends and I'm going to buy Cyrus now.

Ditto me. I read through it and tried to extract the well-reasoned and meaningful postings from the (many) intelligent contributors, but found the childish rantings and insult swapping from the few gave me little inclination to participate.

Now what does that remind me of; being voyeur to a group of people from different backgrounds in a virtual 'house', squabbling and in-fighting over mundane issues with the occasional 'eviction' when people misbehave??!!

I just couldn't get over the antagonism to us and all things Naim (Hallowed be thy...)

What have we done to cause such hostility?

I have been agonising over whether to dump all the Naim kit, forget the 252 and buy some brand of which all those grown ups will approve. Not.

I go to the Audio Asylum, as regularly as this forum-at least once a day-and was at a real loss trying to fill my time without this forum. I read and listened to a lot of music. Glad you're back online. This seems a really well moderated and intelligent place, and a real antidote to the contentious battle zone of the Asylum. I have a CD5X/Fcap2x combo, and love the music.
