Bet they don't sample The Human Voice in Islam this time round. Shame really because i thought that was the best track. not worth a fatwa though

.....Excellent news ..."Ghosts" was a crackin' record and way ahead of it's time ...I played it to death then and still go back to it from time to time now.
Eno's production duties with Talking Heads were also uniformly great (even if it didn't go down too well with Chris and Tina)
A tour featuring these two would a must see for me (a long time Byrne/Heads devotee)
Which leads me to wonder ....given all the members of Talking Heads are alive and (apparently) well what's the chances of DB dusting down the big jacket and re-forming T Heads if only for a short time?
I don't think a band such as TH reforming would be in anyway a naff idea compared to some of the bands that have done so. TH music transcends the usual worries about relevance as it was so quirky and left of centre even back in the 80's
Tis' funny how jazz artists can revisit their back catalogue even into their old age without criticism but so many reformed rock bands face censure from the media for doing the same thing (?)

(?)
I think everyone involved has said there's zero chance of that.

Brian Eno was interviewed on the Today program (Radio 4) this morning. They played some short snippets which sounded very interesting.
Could be good.

Number one in Britain and successful in the States
So round the table me and label bosses contemplate
You’ve got to get a second home
And hang with Chrissie Hynde
You get yourself some Ray-Bans and before you know it’s time
For your Eno - Eno collaboration
All across the nation
As sure as night follows day
I travelled South America recording different sounds
I danced within an elven ring of quicksilver delight
Highly influential documentary guaranteed
Who put the ‘con’ in concept?
It was me with my Eno - Eno collaboration
All across the nation
As sure as night follows day
I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Eno’s phone goes thus:
“Brian’s not at home, he’s at the North Pole
but if you’d like to leave a weird noise”
So roll up for the Eno - Eno collaboration
All across the nation
As sure as night follows day
I went from the Andes to the Indies in my undies
A light aircraft was on standby just in case I got bored
In Montego where my ego fair blocks out the sun
Sing Aurora Borealis, uber alles, on toast
So round the table me and label bosses contemplate

HMHB of course, and he should be heavily punished for working with U2, but what they (and maybe you) miss out on is that the man made some really good solo albums like 'Taking Tiger Mountain'.
Cheers,
Willem

Anyone else bought this?
I've got the download and ordered the CD to be delivered sometime in November.
Played it a couple of times on the iPod today. A bit disappointed first time but there are some good tunes on it and it improved on second listening, could be a grower.
Just do NOT expect '...Ghosts' pt 2 because it is nothing like that and you won't be disappointed.
