Opinions Wanted re Transferring of LP onto CD

Posted by: Dan Dooland on 09 January 2008

I recently requested Digital Improvements in Thornhill to transfer an old lp onto CD . I had no idea if it was good enough to transfer, but they went ahead with it, charged me 6.95 additional for each track that was Enhanced by using their Wonderful new Software (made no diff.) and called me for my VISA Number BEFORE I heard it. BOTTOM LINE; It should never had been transferred in the first place. Dave Orgel should have just phoned me to say it was not good enough to transfer, but NO, he charged me $160.00 and won't reimburse me, and will not take the criticizm. He offered to make it better if I gave him all the numbers of when the cracke turn up etc.... (joke) What should I do??

Post that in as many places as you can. Any blogs etc. Send to any consumer groups you can think of. Charge a non-refunable deposit, but not the full amount without any recourse.
Probably only using someone elses S/W any way Audigy for example.
It should be no foal no fee.
