Just discovered this group on a Mojo Christmas compilation - just loved the song. Also found a bit of their work on the Internet that was very good. Any one have advice on what to get avoid etc.

Cheers

I have 'Singing Bones' and 'Through the Trees' both are highly recommended. If you like what you have heard on a compilation I can't see you not liking either of these

i'd second both those recommendations and add the earlier milk and scissors [which features some of the best guitar riffs neil young hasn't played in the last 15 years] and the live album live at schubas tavern...

a really fascinating group [well duo] with some the best lyrics from the last 10 years

Thanks greeny - picked up both "Singing Bones" and "Through The Trees" - both excellent. From what I understand thay are better know in the UK than in North America but to all of you who do not know their work I strongly recommend that you check them out - listen to "Weightless Again" at
