Anyone here have a very tall ex-girlfriend/wife/daughter?

We give up. Joanna is 6ft 1, and for years bought her clothes at Long Tall Sally. Over the last five years or so the quality has dropped dramatically. Of course, the prices haven't dropped to match. We are now getting desperate, but surely there are other girls with 34 or 35" inside legs?
Can anyone offer help? Oh, and Next, M&S and all the usual high street chains are no good for her. They really aren't long enough in the arms and legs.

Shoes aren't a problem thankfully. I have size 13 feet, but for blokes once you've sourced a couple of shops for clothing and shoes that's the problem sorted. But for some clothing that doesn't make her look like a binge-drinking tart and lasts more than one wash.....

Just did a Google search on" tall girls clothes" this has returned a few websites including Lankybird.
Whether any of these have physical retail outlets I don't know.

There's Rochester big and tall but i've never noticed women's clothes in there. It's oppposite Harrods and stocks branded clothes (ie Ralph Lauren etc) so not cheap...
Good luck,

Erin O’Connor is quite tall and if the TV is to be believed she shops at Marks & Spencer.

Is that all!?
You pricked my curiosity Howard, so I did a Google image search for 'binge-drinking tart'.
I found two interesting results on the 1st page:
1: A picture of Jamie Oliver.
2: Google asks 'Did you mean: binge-drinking toast'.

Get her a 'uniformed' job! : )
That way, the clothing issue is someone else’s problem, and she earns money as well ; )
When i go into work, the fashion is blue with red piping... it's great, you never need to worry about what to wear or messing up your own stuff… (looks pretty boring though)
btw, i still wear clothes i purchased in LTS over ten years ago, these days you are lucky if LTS stuff lasts a couple of machine washes. It's become cheap imported crap from god know where, China? Indonesia? i don’t know but even the sleeves are not as long as they once were so it don't fit as well as it used to.
I only buy it now ’out of season’ when they have a sale and the price is rock bottom!

M&S also used a certain gigantic England rugby captain to promote their range for tall people. So that means Martin Johnson, at 6ft 7, has a 35" inside leg..... I've never thought of him as lacking in leg length. I'm 6ft 4, 36" inside leg.
M&S can't even stock shirts that fit me....

Hey, Nymph,
Did LTS recently send you a request for feedback on their products? Joanna sent them a belter. Guess what? No reply. Perhaps the non-English speakers couldn't understand it.

If LTS sent me a feedback request it probably went in the paper recycle bin, although they ought to know me by now, i haven't bought anything off them for a couple of years and when i have it was in sales and nowhere near full price.
I find it more cost effective to look scruffy these days!
When i win the lotto i'll shop here : >

curious to know why the problems of the ex are so uppermost in the originator's mind?
Posted on: 18 September 2008 by Tony Lockhart
She's my ex-girlfriend because I married her, and the word wife makes her shiver.

I am starting to appreciate that my clothing problems are not all that bad, I can generally get stuff taken up, in etc. My youngest sister is having some problems though, she is now 14 and has stretched to my height whilst still having a waist about the same size as most people's legs! Gap skinny jeans in a UK-4 tall size look reasonably normal on her, but she still needs to wear a belt!

Oh no! 901 posts, does that mean I need to visit the Bose outlet?
Think I might ignore this particular bit of fate!
