Anyone know where this guy is now, Ace at setting up LP12's/Naim (The last service the LP 12 had was from him 3 years ago, and my dew dealer said very little to do, after talks it turned out we both new J), a great guy that loves single malt scotch (Hangover detais available if required <grin> )

Hi Stuart, I can't really help answer your question directly but I know that Jay was ill for a period and that he ocasionally keeps in touch with Derek from Auditorium dealership in New Kings Road. Derek worked for a year at RPM and learned much from him.
Give Derek a call for more info.
I used RPM as my dealer and was very sorry that they closed, Jay could certainly work the magic on Sondeks my vintage 1981 deck was transformed by him. I changed it in 1990 when the plinth cracked, naturally trading in via RPM. I now use Auditorium or Oranges and Lemons.
