LP12 feet

Hi

I have an LP12 with no baseboard (not yet built). I gather from view on the forum that the general consensus is that the deck performs better without the baseboard, but I'll need to put on some feet of some sort.

Maplins has been suggested, but it doesn't exist in Geneva! Has anbody tried any of the other supports available, like michel cones & the like - could that be a good alternative to the base board?

Any advice appreciated!
Thanks

Hi Christopher,

my current set-up, which works well for me, has the baseboard removed, and three of the standard rubber feet fitted. 2 are in the front corners, and the third in the centre at the back (using the existing baseboard mounting hole).

A guy I knew a while ago swore by replacing the rubber feet with similar profile aluminium ones (I think he had them specially made in a machine shop)... I never got to hear that set-up though so I can't really offer comments on the quality myself (although other tips he gave me were very reliable)...

Good listening!
Chris
