What are the best recorded albums you have
in genre of rock/fusion/jazz ?

I haven't got many but i think the best recorded one i have is on vinyl:-
Land Of Cockayne by Soft Machine

I too do not have many jazz/fusion records, but, being a big fan of Soft Machine, I'd second the vote for Land Of Cockayne.

Also think Naim recordings are superb, try Foo Foo or Fred Simon.

In my collection, the best recorded rock are any of the Rammstein albums.

....Absolutely no doubt about it .."Out Of The Cradle" by Lindsey Buckingham sounds marvelous ....anyone who loves hifi (er' I mean music!) needs to buy it now ...probably the best sounding "rock" album I've ever heard..(and I've heard a few)
The guitars (and there are a whole load of them on this cd) sound especially good.

..And by the way ...isn't Buckingham the most underated guitarist out there?

Patricia Barber "Cafe Blue" cannot be overlooked. The XRCD version is even beter but the standard version is amazing too.

Mysterious Traveller is indeed a real classic! I've got the original vinyl & the CD .....and would love to hear the SACD version ..just about my favourite WR album
