I found some pictures of my old systems while clearing out some files. So here are some starting with my old Well Tempered with Custom Made Mad Bad Stone Plinth circa. 1997

1983:
Turntable: Ariston RD40/Mission 774LC/Ortofon VMS 10/20/30. It's on a cast iron plate that I tried in an attempt to improve the sound.
Cassette deck: Rotel RD300M. My first hi-fi component. I kept this for years after it broke - I didn't have the heart to take it to the tip until a year or two ago.
Amplifier: Hitachi 2800 - probably the most evil hi-fi component ever created.
Speakers: Heybrook HB1.

Dev, its a pleasure to see how your system and decorative sense have, er, evolved.

Jeremy
is that a casio vl tone on the desk?

Yes, a Casio VL-1. I've no idea what the bigger Casio keyboard is - it was borrowed from the neighbours.
