Anybody know where I can get Hot Metal or Whoops Apocalypse on DVD

I've been looking for the original TV series of Hot Metal or Whoops Apocalypse on DVD for some time. Not interested in the Whoops Apocalypse film, which I didn't really like, but the original TV series was fantastic. Hot Metal about the Daily Crucible newspaper starred Robert Hardy and was one of the best series I've ever seen.

Here is a clip from you tube

If you find 'em let me know. I too would be interested in both.

Hi Mike - I'll keep looking: there was a set called The Complete Apocalypse, but it is unobtainable. I'm not sure if HM has ever been released on DVD, but VHS would do.

Press baron Twiggy Rathbone (Robert Hardy) takes over the day-to-day running of a failing daily newspaper, 'The Crucible'.

Rathbone 'promotes' editor Harry Stringer (Geoffrey Palmer) to 'Managing Editor' but makes sure he has no power. Then he brings in a new editor, Russell Spam (Robert Hardy), giving him the job of turning the newspaper into a sleazy downmarket 'rag'. Spam reinstates Greg Kettle (Richard Kane), who had previously been sacked by Stringer. Kettle becomes the paper's leading 'sleaze merchant', inventing stories whenever he can't find any real ones.
