I just got back from seeing this movie, it's great fun and the most incredible non stop soundtrack. There were a few misses here and there in the script, and biggest music miss of all was not having the Beatles on there but I'm sure there was major legalities with that.
Good fun, go an see it.

For anyone who doesn't know ...
Pirate Radio was released in the UK as "Boat that Rocked"

Good film I /we enjoyed it.
I would have thought the Americans would have related to the UK title better.
Studios dropped the III from the Madness of King George III, to stop being asked what happened to to the other 2 movies in the series. Go figure.

yeah BigH, many are dolts about european and british royalty, I certainly get confused over centuries past.
It wasn't a great movie, it was fun tho. It needed more heart. One reviewer said the writer's main goal was to get everyone laid. Fair assessment. I'd have liked seeing Nighy more and the kid's father for a deeper talk. Nighy is becoming a real favorite of mine, as awkward as he is, he plays interesting characters. As it was the main character just got to float around and never do any work, I'd have put in a few scenes to fill that out.
