Any WHO fans - question

Rarely heard these days, 'Dogs' was a single from 1968 - a sort of link between their mid sixties singles and the rock opera Tommy. Slightly confusing because another track 'Dogs (Part Two)' was the b-side of 'Pinball Wizard' (1969) and this latter is available on the 'Tommy' SACD reissue.

Anyway. 'Dogs', the 1968 single, is absolutely brilliant. It was played by Brian Matthew last Saturday. It doesn't appear to be available. Can anyone point me in its direction?

It does appear on a few rather more obscure CD's - it's on the 'Thirty Years of Maximum R'n'B' box that came out in the 90's and also on a couple of japanese cd's - rarites Vol1 & 2 and also 'Direct Hits' . All are available from Amazon at a fairly reasonable cost. Hope this helps.

the best version would be the Classic Records LP reissue of Direct Hits

The best version on CD is on Two's Missing.
