What type of CD-R recording Media is most reliable/best quality?

Hello people ,

quick question, I've started burning a few cd's of late as was wondering what is the most reliable/best quality blank CD-R's to use? I've used both TDK reflex 74min and BASF(EMSF?) 74min and both seem ok. I know that most audiophiles would think I'm doing my ears a dis-service after spending a heap of cash on a decent hi-fi, but at the same time it allows me to listen to many things i wouldn't necessarily get the chance to, nor consider. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

TDK Reflex Blue 74 min is a reliable choice.

I use both a studio standalone burner and a PC, and get good results with both.

Any audiophile with ears on the side of their heads instead of prejudices will tell you that a copy made using quality blanks, software and burner, played back on a cdp that isn't afraid of cd-r, is to all intents indistinguishable from the original.
