Thanks Denis. I'll be buying that. I wonder how the DVD will come out. I felt that they did not quite nail the show. Will be interesting to watch anyway and see how it comes across on the sceeen as opposed to that stifling hot hall.

Adrian,

I agree that the performance wasn't quite there, probably down to 15 years since their last performance. It would have been better if the gig was the last and not the first of the mini tour. Despite the heat I'm sure the DVD will be cool Winker

BTW, you might also be interested in this re-issue.

The Tim Bowness/Peter Chilvers album California, Norfolk will be re-issued in an expanded format via Burning Shed in the Spring of 2009.

The 2009 re-issue will be a 2-disc version, with California, Norfolk (plus two videos) on disc one, whilst disc two consists of Winterton (acoustic sessions EP) and Overstrand.

I have the Overstrand CD which was released after CN. Peter Chilvers is a gifted musician and his stuff (solo piano) and other collaborations would appeal to your late night listening. Again, check him out on Burning Shed.
