From the weight of the tweeters, the bearing/decoupling metal plate seems to bend to the back on top and to the front on the bottom.
So the tweeter only bounces on the bottom, the top lies down on the back of the front...
Do I need new mounting plates? Or can I take them off, and mount them 180 degrees the other way round (top to bottom) to correct that??
Any help apprechiated!

Dear Adrian,
To get the tweeters bouncing correctly does improve the highs of the dbls, especially when listening to the sound sof hi-hat and cymbals.
The way I did it was that I removed the speaker cabinet and have it lie horizontally before removing the screws. I then slowly bent the springs which are out of shape. After a few iterations, you should be able to get the tweeter to bounce freely. Mount tweeter back in horizontal position. Its difficult to do it with the speaker cabinet standing vertically. Hope this helps.

Thanks David.
I thought there could be some kind of silicone seal (like in the mid and bass drivers) that I didn't want to damage... it was easy to correct.
And yes, they do sound better this way.
