Here in South Gloucestershire the floods are very small and localised, though I gather the main river in Swindon has burst its banks....

Travelled (under some duress) to Stratford-in-Avon yesterday and though the ducks and swans were enjoying their extra waddling space, the waters had started receding by 5pm.

More worrying is the response to the lack of water supplies - we're always only a couple of days of rain away from Mad Max II...
