Hi Fi Nirwana or so called

Good morning,hi freaks

Might be a silly question, but all of you
top high-enders, lucky owners of top line Naim
products (CDSII, NAC 52, 135...) did you ever
regret or did you ever have a slight doubt about spending so much money on these products?

Is it possible to realise that one has bought
a system that does not satisfy him 100 % after
having spent so much energy in it?

I wonder because I always feel to go for the next
step....and asking me where the hell is the end
of all that.

Cheers.

PS: I'm a very happy with my gear!

CDX, NAC102, NAPSC, Hi-Cap, NAP 250, Linn Kheilid

Then stick with it, buy some more music, sit back and enjoy (and add an XPS and a Supercap of course).

I think its just human nature to always want slightly more than you have, so I don't think any system would satisfy you 100%.

Whatever system you have, you get used to what it sounds like and it doesn't surprise you any more ... so you start wishing you could add something to make it that bit better.

I don't think that means that you regret having upgraded to whatever level you are at. Down grade some of your equipment and you'll soon see what you're missing.

yes, quite a few times. but it turns out that those times coincide with when some component was actually faulty.

however, normally (like now), my system sounds unbelievably good and the only thing i wonder about is why i would consider "upgrading" at all?? but the reason is simple, and same as always..."madness"

enjoy
