Fantasy Garage

This is for NAIMGAME 'cos I know he's bored.

OK. Assuming you have a BMW 530d Touring parked outside for daily use, what vehicles would be in your Fantasy Garage ?

Pick five. Cars, motorbikes, anything with wheels, old or new, cost no object, you choose.

Think about it in bed tonight, and post tomorrow.

BTW if you're reading this Mick, Fantasy Garage does not mean Miss Whiplash and a rubber Postman Uniform.

I can think of quite a few Handsome/pretty cars made in America;
Cord 810
Studebaker Avanti
Oldsmobile Tornado
All of the above were not only pretty, but also influential on European design.

BLT sorry to be a pedant did you mean an Oldsmoblile Toranado? circa 1966? A great big mother 7liter front wheel drive. Used the body on one of my slot car club cars, it was one of the biggest cars about at the time and therefore allowed a bigger chassis therefore better handling.

Rico not so sure about the safty. In the UK 4x4 were deemed agricultural vehicles and not subject to crash testing. So just besause they look big and strong they may not be so safe. This may have changed here and probably in the US were subject to crash tests. Of course it would be illegal over here to have that knowledge.
I with Ken LIvingstone over these things a waste of resourses and should be bannished to the farm land.

Hey BigH

indeed, perhaps I should clarify - the cruiser appears in my list for getting muddy - I have no requirement for a cafe tractor. Safety refers to offroad safety, per the photy. I see no need for most of the 4x4's one sees dribbling around on the roads, particularly in places where access to the wild green yonder is particularly limited.

Right, how many Naim forum-goers are in to green-laning?
