Do/should HDCDs sound any better than normal ones on my CDX?

Are HDCDs clearly labelled as such?

Where can I buy them (in London or mail order)?

I've never heard a comparison between CD and HDCD, but I can tell you that

have a list of HDCD disks (as well as SACD, DVD-A, vinyl etc). They do have an online ordering system, but I didn't have much luck with it, and ended phoning.....
