So what's your favourite track or song?

Sorry if this has been covered before but I'm currently listening to my favourite track of all time - "Stepping Out" by Joe Jackson.
A seriously neglected singer/songwriter IMO. I've played this track umpteen trillion times & heard mr Jackson play it live on three occasions. Brilliant in all cases!

Richard Thompson's - 'Hard On Me', from the live Semi-Detached Mock Tudor is a great favourite. In fact I always regard it as RT's 'Comfortably Numb'

"I've Been Loving You Too Long" by Otis Redding. It's been covered by a number of artists, most famously by Tina Turner and Joe Cocker. I like Redding's own fairly magnificent rendition, too. I also like the finale of Mozart's "Jupiter" Symphony. Those are my choices for today, tomorrow will be something different.

Who Knows Where The Time Goes by Sandy Denny or Save My Soul by Wimple Winch or Nottamun Town by Shirley Collins or What is Chatteris by HMHB or The Mad Hatter's Song by ISB or Song From The Bottom Of A Well by Kevin Ayres and the Whole World or He Sold The Cottage by Martha and the Muffins or A Mouse Lived In A Windmill by ..... this is too difficult.
OK the best track I've ever heard is Sinfonietta by Leoš Janáček.

ROTF,
You got me pondering which version of 'A mouse lived in a windmill' you were about to declare - makes me think of my 'Runaway Train came over the hill' 45RPm that I used to rack up on my old Dansette along with 'Puff the magic Dragon' and the 'Mouse lived..' . I've never been able to find that Runaway Train 45 since, and never figured out which version it was... Memories..
