Vi-Spring beds

Posted by: patrik0631 on 30 December 2009

Hello,

Since I am most interested in having to order model Regal Supreme or Herald Supreme, I wanted to hear some comments from (happy) Vi-Spring owners. Also is a price tag of £8.000,00 the right price for a Regal Supreme super king size with bedhead? I have to go through an agent for my country.

I always stay firm with the idea that bed and preamplifier must be best possible.

Thanking you for all comments and advice,

Patrick.

Are you saying you wake up firm on your V Spring or are you firm all through the night Patrik? Eek

Hi

I bought a Vi Spring from Maples in Oxford St many years ago and it is still sound.
It was a much cheaper model than the one you are contemplating, even taking inflation into account it would probably be £2500 today, but I must say it was worth every penny.
It is probably 18 years old now and past its best but I was sat up this morning with tea and toast reading the paper, with the sun shining in and thinking how good this bed still is,
I just saw your post so thought a comment was in order.

A Tempur memeory foam bed works for me. Most comfortable. (and a lot cheaper than 8k squid!!!)

Thanks for all feedback.

I discovered the Vi Spring beds at an interior decoration trade show in Verona in 2007 and was very fond of the comfort of the Herald and Regal beds. On top of that the beds are all ready made and would not cost more than Italian design beds. At leat Vi Spring are real beds to me, not fantasy. Lattoflex beds offer similar comfort but look ugly.

I wish to hear some more comments on ViSpring beds.

I learned the use of horsehair is important, though it lifts the cost of a king size bed around 1.000.00!

We have two ViSpring Heralds, one 22 years old, the other 13 years old

Regularly used as trampolines (or is that Trampolin Winker ) by the kids and still going strong.
