When you realise how good it sounds...

Hi All

This weekend I had my system on for pretty much all of saturday. I have got my new rack, and my new speakers are starting to bed in. I was thinking to myself that it is all sounding as good as it has done since I bought it all.

So there I was enjoying a CD when I had to pop out with the missus in her car and she wanted to put the same CD in her car. After about 30 seconds we had both concluded that the CD sounded truely awful in the car. At this point a smile came over my face as I began to realise just how good it sounds at home!

Smile Big Grin

Thanks
Stevie

I agree. I sometimes wonder if it is all worth it until I hear someone elses system. It pleases me that I cringe. I suppose I am becoming a Hifi snob but at least I admit it.

That applies to Krell, ML and a few others.

Regards

We've got 3 cars:
Vectra - manufacturers radio/cassette :- sounds OK.
MR2 - Sony CD/radio/cassette :- sounds pretty bad, top-end tizz like you'd expect from a cheap CD player. I can listen to perhaps one CD.
Voyager - manufacturers CD/radio :- big bloated comfortable unexciting (pretty much like the car really).
None of them are really that great.
