IMFs. To buy or not to buy?

I need the assistance of any hi-fi fogies who are out there! I've seen a pair of Super Compacts going quite cheaply at a local shop and am tempted, but obviously a home demo will be out of the question. Therefore, does anyone ever remember them, and were they any good? They are small three way speakers - about the same size as the Linn Sara - using a resistive loading on the bass driver. I will probably use them on the computer, driven by my old (but rather gorgeous, in a 70's style) Tandberg receiver.

Go to this site and have a look at the IMF Compact Brochure, I have listened to these units (we sold them) and they are a nice speaker.

I've already seen the t-line site, but thanks for replying. I'll try and get a dem of them if I can.
