Having tried virtually every specialist and non-specialist inner sleeve available, including "woven graphite" and other exotic materials, I long ago came to the conclusion that there is nothing which beats the Nagaoka No. 102 anti-static sleeves. They don't cost very much, they're easily available, and they get rid of all static reliably and consistently. The semi-circular shape isn't a problem; the trick is to fold over (at about 45 degrees) the first corner of the sleeve to enter the outer sleeve. The open side of the inner sleeve should be facing the top side of the outer sleeve. The type of polyethylene used means that the friction generated between the sleeve and both vinyl and cardboard is very low, so the record itself slides around very easily without damage.
They are also slightly smaller than the majority of "supplied" inner sleeves (often printed), so can be used inside the original, if desired.
Available from Diverse Vinyl, and lots of others. Nothing to touch them...
