Nice! Listening to the very same, but live from Solent Hall, Bournemouth International Centre on March 2nd 2009. Fantastic!!

Smile Not a band I was familiar with till this album was posted on this thread. I enjoy it, also.

regards
Jeff A

Yes, this is a great place for that , however, my friendly neighborhood record shop owner put me on to it and I can not stop listening. From the sound of it they are brilliant live.

Kuma, which one ? ( version ) just listened to a bit half an hour ago Smile
Posted on: 06 March 2009 by kuma
Vinyl, of course. Smile
This one, to be exact.

cool Kuma, I have that one ( orchestra version) on vinyl as well, but I was listening to the latest 3 disc monstrosity. One day they will hopefully release the music actually in the film, but it looks like the original tapes may have been lost. The bootlegs of the real soundtrack that have been going around for years sound very bad. Oh well, love Vangelis, up till about 1984 or so, and a few bits here and there after...

enjoy

~<>~ Jacqueline Mary du Pré (1945-1987) ~<>~

1-4 Beethoven: Cello Sonata No.3 in A
5-7 Betthoven: Cello Sonata No.5 in D
8-13 Falla: Suite populaire espagnole

Playing disc 14 of superb 17 cd box-set! : )

My sentiments exactly Harold. Over years I have only aquired the orchestral vinyl version. I was wondering whether I was alone in this. One of my favourite films.

ps are you the composer of Pavillion of Dreams?

One of my all time favorite movies, but the soundtrack is not in my top 10.

Are you guys having fun? Watch the DVD, the vinyl production part is amazing, the vinyl cleaning part with 10 different fluids is quite scary. Big Grin
