The latter only on MP3 until my CD copy arrives.
Does anyone else find the backing of 'Gypsy Violin' reminiscent of Tangerine Dream 'Rubycon'?

Just wonderful music, thanks Medtner for the notes, Hamelin for the performance and Haim for the recommendation

Huw,
Unfortunately, I have only the single disc with its Forgotten Melodies I & II. I should have gotten the whole set.

The greatest pop album of all time, IMHO. Great tunes, great lyrics - genius. Can't wait to hear this played with the BBC Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall next month.

George Michael - Listen Without Prejudice - "Cowboys And Angels" is such a beautiful song.

ABC - Vinyl or cd markah? Forever 2gether makes my little system sound scarily real.

CD I'm afraid Mat. It was one of the first albums I never got on vinyl, sadly resigned to the loft at the moment. Oh how I would love to hear this on the black stuff. It doesn't matter what format though to me.

I can remember waiting and waiting for this to come out in '89. I was living/working in New York at the time and had to wait for my best mate to bring me out a copy. That was a good summer! Never went to so many concerts in my life, and often got to meet the bands.

Very true Mark. Great call on the two that follow as well.
From a slightly later era (on 12" - just to contradict myself)
