At the time it was the biggest stage ever built.
I think Roger Waters built a bigger one in no mans land ,When the Wall came down East and West Germany.
If you have not seen the DVD?
Its one to see.

Loads of people doing the wall live.
I have a bit of the wall.

Unless I am very wrong, Genesis did not play Knebworth until 24th June 1978, which certainly was not the same lineup. Steve Hackett left in 1977 and was replaced by Daryl Steurmer on guitar and some bass.

Judging by the BBC recording, it certainly was one of the very best shows played with that lineup though.

Setlist:

Eleventh Earl Of Mar *, In The Cage*, Burning Rope, Ripples, Fountain Of Salmacis, One For The Vine, Deep In The Motherlode, Squonk, The Lady Lies, Cinema Show*, Afterglow, Follow You Follow Me, Dance On A Volcano, Los Endos, I Know What I Like

*not broadcast by the BBC
