Tool 'Denver 2002' Soundboard recording.
As for Kraftwerk, they are one of the very few bands who have improved with better technology instead of losing the effort to strive for a sound and it showing in a bland music. Fellow German electro artists Tangerine Dream faltered once the sounds came without an effort, Kraftwerk found new possibilities without losing their heart.
Jamie,
AFAIK Kraftwerk haven't produced anything original in over 20 years so I don't really understand your statement. Rehashing, sorry unpdating old compositions doesn't realy count in my book Kraftwerk were great in their day and should be remembered so the modern nostalgia touring is akin to ABC, Human League & Heaven 17 doing their Sheffield sound tour. Kraftwerk are the Rolling Stones of the Electronic World a business living on past glories.

Hi nymph,
I bought this LP when it first came out and thought it was good.
I am not too impressed with her later stuff though.

Having seen them live in 1997 and 2004, I think they are still one of the best live bands I have ever seen.
'Tour de France Soundtracks' (2003) did have one track from the 1983 single, but the rest of the album was completely new material. Yes they do still sound like Kraftwerk, but they were not a wet watered down new age dirge, or a sad attempt at playing industrial techno. The songs on 'Tour de France Soundtracks' are as stong as those on 'Computer World' for my money, especially 'Vitamin'.
'Expo 2000' was also excellent.
They did break a lot of new ground in the 70's, I don't see what they could have done to break new ground in the last few years, and frankly I don't see anyone else making the huge leaps now, that they did with say 'Autobahn'. I know music technology is not changing as it did then, so perhaps it is not so easy now.
I also do not have a problem with bands touring after many years, either for nostalgia, or with new energy. I saw Miles Davis two months before he died, and I have seen few others match his energy. I saw Van Der Graaf Generator several times in the last few years, as they approach their 60th birthdays, and the same goes for them.

Awful waste of money I'm afraid-not my cup of tea at all. I have just given it to my sister.
