That reminds me that I should give Jamie an update on how my progress with editing those 3 Rickie Lee Jones shows is going.

Mark - did you get an email this week as I did not for some reason. If so can you forward to me please.

Adrian,

What is the verdict?

Haim - this is a slow grower so I am not sure on it yet. The Arve Henriksen release from last year is similar and I definitely prefer that one at this stage. Will need to listen some more to the Hassell and will let you know.

Cheers

Now that you mention it, no I didn't. Strange.

No Stuart, various changes. One series cancelled, one new one, BBC3 comedy show, starting in Manchester in about two weeks, then down in London a couple of times during April (I think) waiting for a full schedule. Will be some live studio audience shoots at the London TV Centre, which will be interesting. Will try and find out about free BBC tickets if anyone is interested.

Hi Ewen, just let me know about the Rickie Lee Jones shows when you have the details, no rush.

These recordings were part of my basic listening some 25 years ago. In between I have transcribed them to CD, and they wear well.

Yes, and much as i admire all the performer on this set, i noticed that the final LP is Helmut Walcha, they saved the best for last! : )

Joe Jackson - Rain.

First listen, sounds like typical JJ. He seems to be wearing well after all these years.

Ten tracks in, I have changed my mind about this one. Maudlin and repetitive, it is coming off.
