Mat,

I've got a few of the tracks on a Best Of compilation, but the rest of the album sounds very fresh and up-beat, I like it. Some interesting musicians on it, see the Amazon review attached. Sounds pretty good on the Nak.

Apart from their use in cars and on Walkman's I was never a big fan of cassettes during their heyday, but on the right equipment the sound is pretty good,

Track listing:

1. Nobody Loves Me But My Mother
2. You're Still My Woman
3. Ask Me No Questions
4. Until I'm Dead And Cold
5. King's Special
6. Ain't Gonna Worry My Life Anymore
7. Chains And Things
8. Go Underground
9. Hummingbird

Amazon review:

Amazon.co.uk Review
In the late 1960s and early 1970s, B.B. King made a series of albums in Los Angeles using rock-world ringers and session players as ABC sought to replicate the chart success of "The Thrill Is Gone". For the most part, these recordings are just dispassionate filler, but this album is an exception. Produced by Bill Szymczyk and featuring guitarist Joe Walsh, pianists Carole King and Leon Russell, and drummer Russ Kunkel among its players, B.B. delivers minor classics in the stirring "King's Special" and the hard blues "Until I'm Dead and Cold". He also takes his only recorded turn at piano, vamping briefly through a flippant croon he calls "Nobody Loves Me But My Mother (And She Could Be Jiving Too)". --Ted Drozdowski

Wow, good tracking...

The trio (!) was excellent. Not a contender to step into E.S.T. footsteps, and not intended to, but a great quality of their own. An intimate evening of superb music making (80 people or so in the audience) that had it all. Power, sensitive moments, intellectual scenes, improvisation, playing with the audience, etc. WELL WORTH IT.

cheers
Stefan
