Set Top Box Channel 4

I noticed last Thursday evening I had no sound on my set top box for Channel 4. The picture was fine. Tried the terrestial channel 4 and that was fine. I'd assumed it was a problem with my Sony receiver.
I rang my local Sony dealer to advise him of the problem and he had the same problem on his TV..
That was 4 days ago & I'm still having the same problem. This is in the Altrincham.
Does any one else have this same problem.
