Hi all;
The above amplifiers were offered to my cousin at almost the same price. The Onkyo was only 50$ more than the Yamaha. How do you all feel about this?

Flame,
I haven't compared the feature set between the two choices but purely on sound quality, I would suggest the Onkyo.

I have the Yamaha and it is a great AV amp, decided not to go for an Onkyo as they seemed at the time to run quite warm (according to various av sites) and needed more space around them than my rack could offer.

What speakers are u using the amp with? How big is the room and how loud do you play? How would u describe the sound?

I just have a small Boston system (needs upgrading!!) but it will go very loud with ease.
