It's a cliche I know, but it happened to me.

I finally hooked up my long awaited CDSII/XPS to the 72/Hi/135/briks and allowed it to baste in the juice of the separate spur/earth for a couple of days.

Last night I put on some familiar music. My wife said 'this CD is really good, sounds like we are listening to a live performance' I agreed and went on to talk about the track, then she said 'I don't mean the CD I mean the player'. Stunned I was, as this is the first time she has ever commented about sound quality, she has always maintained that hi-fi's all sound much the same and that I'm deluded to think otherwise (and that you lot are too!). So we sat together until the early hours playing cd after cd. Thank you Naim, and thanks to Andrew at Audio-Republic in Leeds for going the extra mile.

Best regards from a delighted customer!

Just to second what Jez said about Andrew at Audio Republic in Leeds. I would recommend him to anyone.
