Frank Abela: what does distance between the speakers mean?

Frank-

When you talk about the Dynaudios being between 5 and 6 feet apart, how is this measured?

Is it measured between the tweeters or between the inner edges of the speakers?

Hi,

I always do it treeter to tweeter but I don't think I have seen it published anywhere.

When it gets down to these small differences it is going to come down to measuring with your ears anyway so the published numbers are just a 'getting started' guide.

The differences are nor small in some cases when you are dealing with a narrow room and bookcases on the walls.

Hopefully Frank can shed some light relative to what he means when the Dynaudios needing to be 5-6 feet apart,
