You didn't notice at the end of the song when the singer and another girl put their fists together, and they each had half a heart drawn in red that become whole?
I wouldn't have minded being at their party afterwards. Razz

Pity TOTP wasn't still on as I could see those dirty Russian girls having a big hit over here with their entry and we could all get another chance to do a spot of drooling.

Sounds a bit like the drunken pub song,

I am the music man, I come from down your way,
and I can play...
What can you play?
I can play the ... piano.
Pian, pian, piano,
piano, piano.
Pian, pian, piano,
pian, piano.

Etc....

Look, it's great when had a few - ok, when you've had a lot...

I thought Finland was the best song by a long way.

Russia was catchy.

Serbia and Ukraine made you cringe because they were just as awful as Scooch.

Scooch deserved nil points, unfortunately somebody deaf obviously voted for us.

Funny that there are all these moans about friends voting for one another, however our points came only from our own friends Malta and Ireland. And when our 'friends' are Ireland and Malta who have, shall we say, an interesting history with GB, then gawd help us when our enemies choose to gang up on us.

Also, three friends who I have chatted to about this are a Pole, a German and a Swede. All three live here and all voted (!) and clearly not for the GB. They assured me that were they allowed to vote for the GB on a call from the GB, then they would have...

My office colleagues, all British, couldn't give a monkey's and none voted (although most watched). So maybe it's just apathy among Western voters that gives the Eastern countries the edge.

Having said that, f*ck 'em. Who won the bloody war anyway..?
