Thirteen
Not heard of number one. Some investigating is needed

Only 8 on this list.

20 of 50. Not bad.
Posted on: 18 November 2009 by Steve O
The fact that it contains a Britney Spears album must bring into question its validity.
Posted on: 18 November 2009 by JWM
Either way, I only have 6 on each.

12...a healthier, more eclectic list. Like satire is the symptom of a healthy society, so is having Mastodon and Nora Jones side by side on the sideboard.

Interesting Adams is at the top. I like others of his works better but it is a good tribute and quite gentle. Amy Winehouse made it at the bottom, amazing.

I only have three, do I get dropped?
Posted on: 18 November 2009 by Diccus62
amazing, all 50
Posted on: 18 November 2009 by Diccus62
Actually I lied but number 20 arrived from Amazon today and there are a good few more around here somewhere

Is there a prize if you have the most? How can we prove it? All these and many more questions

Still recommend the great npr:all songs considered podcast with Bob Boilen

Completely over-rated IMHO

I got 4 on this list.

16 on this list!

I score 0 Frown

Nonetheless I don't feel too bad about it as this list has Beyonce and Britney Spears, but finds no room for The Drift by Scott Walker.

2 on the NME list and 5 on this. Not Britney fortunately !
Lists are just so subjective, I know that the 7 total I have would not make it to my top 50 of the decade.

Coldplay??? Shouldn't that album have been called 'A Rush of Cash to the Bank'. Sorry couldn't resist.

A far more interesting list than the N.M.E. one. Still not much I won, but certainly more music that I listen to at friends, or on the TV/radio.

And IMO Winker

Me too. Such a pity that it looks like Plant has scrapped Strange Sensation in favour of this.

I am not sure that his being part of a Led Zeppelin reunion was ever going to be more than a one off, but of the three bands he was playing with over the last few years he seems to have opted for the least interesting.

What a waste.

16 for me.

An eclectic list, for sure. Kelly Clarkson and Burial make strange bedfellows.

Not sure what criteria were used but it seemingly extended beyond "artistic merit" in a lot of cases.

Just 7 for me. Only a couple of which I really rate, "llinois" by Sufjan Stevens and the two Radiohead entries. Frown

2 on this list.

BTW I don't agree about Plant/Krauss. I think it's excellent. Plant's got nothing to prove and can do what he wants to, not what is expected of him.

1 of 50 - not that it matters

17- another good result Winker , but what Britney Spears is doing on the list ???
Posted on: 22 November 2009 by Bruce Woodhouse
Fourteen. Some surprising choices, some of the ones I own are not terribly memorable IMHO (such as the Yo Yo Ma album

4 for me on this list.
