IN my limited experience with TT, i think the Michell Gryodec does PRaT rather well.
Is there other TTs that does PRaT well? please recommend.

I think the notts analog spacedeck does prat better than the gyrodec.
I think the LP12, Xerxes, Rega P9, P25, P3, any Nottingham Analogue, in fact the vast majority of the main players do PRaT better than the Gyro or Orbe. I love the looks of the Michell decks, and their build quality is just stunning (I really wanted to own one for those reasons and listened to a few), but unfortunately in my experience they just don’t do the groove thing nearly as well as the competition.

a Townshend Rock III or Rock reference.
I believe Max is cooking up a new TT at the moment.

Mark

Hi Silk,
Forget the Clearaudio, get a Rega P3, or better, a used LP12 with an Ittok, then upgrade later to an aro if the vinyl hobby sticks with you. I used to own gyro, no PRaT at all.

Try the Linn LP-12/Naim ARO/Armageddon/Transfiguration Supreme/Naim Prefix
Well, I disagree that the Michells don't do PRAT at all. Something must have been wrong with their carts or phono stages ... there was one reviewer that gave the Gyro higher marks than his own Linn LP12 in the PRAT dept ! (The Audiophile Voice)
For other PRATty tables - Rega, Roksan Xerxes X/Naim ARO/Transfiguration Supreme or FM Acoustic Virus cart. The latter almost sounds like the CDS2, but without the digital character (which actually some people like) ...
