Hawthorne Demo Opinions/stories

Hey Seattle Brothers,

Did anybody go over to Hawthorne this weekend to check out Chris Koster's demos? I would have gone but live 2000 miles away...

Interested in hearing your thoughts...

I was there, I had to be it's one of my regular days there! It was my first time meeting Chris and the experience was very enjoyable. We auditioned the CDS3 through Devore 8 Speakers and the sound heard was a jaw-dropper. Thanks to Chris and Naim for the great experience. The store was slammed, customers were mesmerized in the main listening room and had to be be coaxed back into reality.

Not a surprise Walkman...CK is the best in the business IMO. So how bad does the CDSIII make (our) CDS mk1 sound? ;-)

LOL..."slammed" = very busy with a large number of people present.
