Adam- You have made a difference

Posted by: Onthlam on 24 April 2005

I have to commend you sir.
There was a time (not to long ago) the forum was a wee bit to @#$% up for me to enjoy.(IMHO)

The decision to put you,"In Charge",was brilliant.
Keep up the good work...

Did want to put a clock on that fuse thread. Thought you would have the radar on and nicked it before Sara Brightman was done... Smile

Best,
Marc

1. Naim have never said that upsid down fuses make any change, so why ask them?

If one visits the Naim factory - one can see examples of all the products that demonstrate the agreed layout of the cables and other non circuit board components (The circuit boards by definition have a greater tendency to consistency than the subsequently manually assembled components). The position, fixing etc of the components has been arrived at as a result of listening tests. The people assemblying the products use these models to ensure that the new products are assembled in a consistant manner

The "listeners" can tell the difference between different voltage models of the same kit.

Now re-read this post with relevance to the issues stated above in this thread

I'm with Marc.

Adam's control of the forum (and dry humour) is much appreciated as far as I'm concerned. Nothing wrong with expressing that - we are quick enough to moan about poor service!

The period of "transition" was uncomfortable and I got a ton of stick both here and on Pink Fish.

It is really encouraging to hear some acceptance rather than the vocal complaints that some are so free with.

Ta!

Gents-
Not everything you have done and will do in the future might be the "popular" thing to do.
However, If one feels it is the riight thing to do, for what ever reason, then gents- Do it...

You have NO idea who I am and what I am all about. I will always appreciate your thoughts and accept them as your perception of reality.

Please do not attact me in the smallest way as I would never do that to you.

Adam,

Without nitpicking of terrible grammar, this forum would be a duller place. Winker

That said, I think the moderation is pretty good here and, while we had a low period without search, the forum is now working wonderfully.

Tam

Mark Tucker said this about 2 years ago. Soon after he left Naim ..... But I'm sure that it was not the reason....

At the time, people all over the world checked their fuses and reported in this forum. Many people got crazy and hysterically asked where to hell the fuse box is? Then they asked how they can define the right direction of the fuse.

The rest of it is written in the pages of the history (hysteria...).
