Is there any chance we could have a thread where Naim employees (Paul.S, Paul.D, Doug, George, etc...), describe their current set-ups, and maybe even summarise their upgrade path. I'm not asking for any insider info, but it would be nice to know...

We could leave out stands/spurs/rings/hydras/mworks blocks/etc... to avoid anything too controversial, and just stick to the black boxes (oh and the wooden ones)

I'm not even sure we need to ask the question. Its probably not unreasonable to assume they all have pretty top-notch Naim systems on 'extended user evaluation'

the reason why I asked, was on two occasions when I have called naim for advice, I've made the usual small talk with the naim guy/girl at the other end, and one lady was still using a CDi (which she described as still an excellent player), and someone the old cds.

Yep - not doubt the Pauls have cds4/662/600/DBL2s... but some of the other may not.
