Richard-

If Paul is still interested in comparing a non Naim ps to a Naim Hi-Cap? I might be interested.

1. It will not sound exactly like a Naim ps.
2. It would still be rock solid built and cause no impurity to the chain(impedance, ground and such).
In my opinion, it does build on what Naim does so well!(prat and the like)

No one may hold me accountable if this does not go through or if I decide not to do this. There are great costs to send a heavy piece like this to the U.K..
AND- How would we ever know the truth? I can't make the trip.

Regards to all,
Marc

bring it over on the plane

i have some 3KWatt oil-filled 240-110V transformers here, which we use in the lab for testing USA-sourced colour laser printers. So there is no problem on generating nice juice :-) They are almost a 2-man lift each but you would be welcome to borrow them if that helped for any demos.

Of course, this would be completely unnecessary in salisbury -- I would assume that naim's listening room has world-class 110v power built in.
