2 weeks after

Hi there !

There is a two weeks behind me with my brand new CD5 and Intros 2.
The system was constant turn on and I listened to it about two hours every day. After one week I didn't heard any improvement in sound quality and was a little bit sceptic about to believe that even an entry level system can give a reasonably better results after adequate burn in period. Yesterday, after two weeks of burning in, I was heard a difference for which I can't say that is a placebo effect. My system is slightly improved and that was happened somewhat momentally. Today morning, before going to work, I was take some 20 minutes to see if it was just some good sunny day yesterday or my system is slightly burned in. The results is the same, everything is more crispy the picture is a little more natural streched between the speakers and I feel like everything is set on the place where should be. It is just like all my components make some clack in their connection and the whole sound is now more consistent and more continuate.
I have didn't have a clue how much of music is left behind my ex Epos 12, which are in order to Intros much much more hungry. Intro was simply destroyed Epos and Intros act as a thru high class performer in order to Epos.
But ther is something else what I have found and also would ask some of you Intro or any Naim speaker owners.
Did you toe them in or positioned them parallel with back walls?
My speakers is just one centimeter toe in. I have found that this is the best position in my room and they are 40 cm of back wall because I can't place them close to wall due some furniture/wife/kid problems. But even close to back wall they will load unwanted bas for my small room.
Oh, one more, did you play with grill on or of?

Its all a matter of personal choice!!

Keep on trying different speaker positions until you find the one that suits you best!!

Happy listening
