Return of a legend

Al Green's I Can't Stop is magnificent. It's an amazing return to his 70s peak, and stands alongside his classic albums (all of which you've got, obviously): Gets Next To You, Let's Stay Together, I'm Still In Love With You, Call Me.
It's pretty much his old Hi house band, produced by Willie Mitchell, recorded in the same studio as way back when, using the same microphone, all songs written by Green & Mitchell. And no gospel!
What could have been a grating attempt at recreating former glories is instead fabulous blues-tinged soul, complete with Al Green's fully-intact, spine-tingling pipes.
And the man's voice is still 100% guaranteed to enhance your bedroom experience by a factor of 73. At least.
