Actually that's something worse than an urban legend. That's a Country song by Brad Paisley called "The Cigar Song"

Besides that, the purchase of Cuban cigars is illegal for Americans (thanks Cold War!). I'm not an expert in insurance law, but I find it hard to believe that you could insure something that is illegal to have in the first place. You might as well try insuring crack cocaine or heroin. That would go over real well...

I suppose it would be pointless to point out that this infamous lawsuit never actually happened? Along with another favorite--the person who sued Winnebago after the camper crashed when the driver put it on cruise control and went back to make coffee?
