Reference source for the quality of recordings

In some of the hi-fi mags there are reviews which include the quality of the recording which I find very useful, especially with classical and jazz.

Does anyone know where one can find such information in an easily accessable form?

For classical you can try www.classicstoday.com but I'm not sure about any similar sources for jazz. I often agree with the Classics Today reviewers, but some of their ratings, especially on sound, have seemed somewhat off the mark to me.
