Silly Question Really.

Hi,
I've been looking through the forum but couldn't find what I am looking for.
How do I turn the Logo off my 102 & 180 ( I don't have the remote).
I suppose easy solution is to buy one. Or, I'll be (hopefully) getting CDX soon so will the remote on CDX has display buttom that works for 102 & 180?
Best Regards & Very Happy New Year,
Km

The logo is the green thing that says "NAIM". You may turn of the display on the cd players-- that is, the tscreen that gives you track info etc. You my not turn off the "logo" on any NAIM gear.

I just thought if you leave your amps "on" all the time like most of users, then surely this should be an option.

Not a silly question.
Over Christmas I have de-camped to sleep in the music room at home, to accomodate guests. On the first night I was astonished how much light came from the combined logos of my eight Naim boxes. Had to turn off the power to get to sleep, and then had to put up with it sounding crappy for most of the following morning.
Switched logos would be nice (I have them on my Crown amps), but probably wouldn't get past the bean counters at Naim.

Drape a cloth over them.
That way you go to sleep and your units stay warm.
Simple really.

"Drape a cloth over them" - does this stop the transformers chirping too

Some power-amps turn off their logos when they overheat (check your manual). But this is something to avoid
So don't forget to take away your anti-light and anti-humm blankets befor you turn music on again...

happy listening
