250 sound about right if condition is good. IMO it is worth waiting to find a good pair of mk II's. They will cost about 380 UKP, but well worth the extra. BTW mk II's seem to be about as rare as rocking horse droppings...

Naim can, I believe, still update Mk1-Mk2 spec.
Mine started life as Mk1's but have had new tweeters and bass units fitted. Naim will give you a price for the update.
Mine are not in perfect external condition (some rust on the stand, and very minor cabinet marks) but cost me £250.
A total steal at that price.

I had my IBLs upgraded last year.
Infidelity did the upgrade themselves rather than send them back to Naim.
The upgrade is about £220 or so from memory.
Andrew
ps. No one is having my IBLs now they have 135s driving them. A complete steal for £250 is the understatment of the year (or perhaps a bit longer).

I didn't get the MK 1's that I enquired about. I decided to wait for a pair of MK 2's to appear and after a long wait bought the ones that were on ebay for £460 (ouch!) I think I paid a bit over the odds but they were mint and sound superb!!
