hicap

Hi,
Currently have cd5 with hicap, should I keep my hicap or dowgrade to flatcap 2 when purchasing a 112/150 combo.

I added a HiCap to my 112/150 and was really impressed by the extra weight and dynamics it deivered.

I have never had a CD5 so I can't comment personally but have read here in the past that the best value use for a HiCap in a CD5/112/150 system is driving the 112.

Finally there are a lot of 2nd Hand HiCaps for sale and they are generally a pretty safe buy so you could consider that as your option for the CD5 rather than buying a Flatcap 2, once you have got past the initial fun of the 112 w your existing HiCap.
